Koroneihana Day 2007 was celebrated at Logan Gardens in Logan Central. There was a small gathering of whanau that attended. The day was spent holding little learning workshops for our tamariki, such as Story telling, Arts & Crafts, Poi, Haka, Kingitanga & Mihimihi. The latter part of the day was spent playing some whanau games, where all the kids joined in and the adults stood back and enjoyed the entertainment.
This was the first of two hangi fundraiser held to raise funds to support the 10th Anniversary Silver Jubilee Ball being held in October 2007. Thank you to all the ringa wera and supporters.

Te Timatanga Hou o Tainui no Brisbane's Inaugrual Golf Tournament was held on Sunday 27 May 2007 at the Logan City Golf Club in Meadowbrook, Brisbane. Over 40 Golfers participated in the tournament. The tournament was part of TTHT's fundraising efforts for their 10th Anniversary Silver Jubilee Ball being held in October 2007.
K-Day 2005 as it became known was held on Saturday 7 May at Meakin Park Soccer Grounds in Slacks Creek. There was an exceptional variety of entertainers on the day and a wonderful assortment of stalls. These photos present those that took part in the festivities.
A contingency of representatives from the Kahui Ariki and Marae Toopu accompanied with representatives of Nga Mara Mara o Tainui from Melbourne and Alex Papas a business man and resident of Geelong all came for a visit to Brisbane. This particular wananga was held to begin the process of organising Te Timatanga Hou o Tainui's activities for the next 12 months from October 2003 to October 2004 and was facilitated by T Watson.
